It seems that there are hundreds of noteworthy historical events, births and deaths listed for this very day. I care little about the history of the day or its connection to others lives. For me there is only the one thing that this day means, and that being this is the day in 2006 on which my daughter Sarah Faye, my heart, my beautiful child passed from this place to another. I wish her peace and rest, two things that she found little of in her short life. I miss you baby girl.
If you have lost a child or other relative as a result of the Campbell government's cuts to social programs, speak out...write your MLA, your local media or your Member of Parliament and help stop future murders in the name of profit...don't remain silent.
